LIVE WORKSHOP ON ENDOUROLOGY AND LAPROSCOPIC UROLOGY

A live-operative workshop on advanced laparoscopic, endo urological procedures and Radical Surgery will be held on 19th April 2012 at Department of Urology and Renal Transplantation, Shaikh Zayed Hospital, Lahore.
The procedures will be carried out and moderated by international experts

Prof. MKM Sheriff is Consultant Urological Surgeon, Medway Maritime Hospital, Kent, UK & Professor of MIS, Canterbury Christ Church University, Kent, UK.
He has special interest in laparoscopic uro-oncoloy. He is founder & Director of Minimally Invasive Surgical Teaching Institute, Kent. He has introduced many training projects & has been extensively involved in various research projects particularly regarding neuromodulation & incontinence. He has delivered lectures & presentations at society meetings all over the world.
Mr. Faiz Mumtaz is Consultant Urological Surgeon at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals NHS Trust in Enfield, London and Honorary Senior Lecturer University College London.
His Special interest is in Minimally Invasive Urological Surgery: Laparoscopic and Robotics. He practices minimally invasive surgery utilizing laparoscopic, robotic, percutaneous and endoscopic techniques to diagnose and treat upper urinary tract urological cancers. He performs laparoscopic and robot-assisted radiacl and partial nephrectomy for renal tumours, pyeloplasty, percutaneous nephrolithotomy and flexible and rigid ureteroscopy. He has conducted several laparoscopic workshops in Trinidad for the Caribbean Urological Association and at the same demonstrated live laparoscopic nephrectomies. He has also conducted laparoscopic workshop in Doha, Qatar.
Mr. Aasem Chaudry is Consultant Urological Surgeon (Endourology & Stones) and Director of Stone Services Bedford Hospital, affiliated with University of Cambridge.
His Special interest is in endourology & stone disease. He has vast experience in stone management including percutaneous nephrolithotomy, flexible and rigid ureteroscopy, laser stone service and laser TURP. He has a lot of experience of training and teaching at leading urology department of United Kingdom. His present department works in close association with Bristol Urology Institute and is linked with University of Bristol and University of West of England.
Mr. S.K.PAL is Medical Director, Lions Kidney Hospital and Urology Research Institute, New Delhi. He is also Visiting Senior Consultant Urologist & Andrologist to Primus Super Specialty Hospital.
His main interests are percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy and transurethral surgery. He has performed more than 7000 operations for percutaneous removal of kidney stones and about 5500 ureteroscopic operations. He has demonstrated PCNL operations at 52 workshops in 12 cities of India, Pakistan , Nepal ,Philippines and China. He has delivered 70 plus talks in various Urological Academic meets in India, Pakistan, Singapore, Nepal, Abu Dhabi, Hong kong, Philippines and China.
