Lahore, the heart of Pakistan and a vibrant city for the last many centuries has the honor of laying the foundation of Pakistan Association of Urological Surgeons (PAUS) in 1997. At present this is the only association of urologist working nationwide. The aims of the society are to impart skill, knowledge and training to the upcoming urology trainees as well as service to humanity.
Urology is no more a small arm of general surgery, but has grown into a specialty which has all the disciplines of surgery i.e. endoscopic, open, laparoscopic and microsurgery. At present all the hospitals of Lahore have Urology departments with a combined strength of about one thousand beds.
PAUS Lahore welcomes our visitors. This site will provide all the information and updates on the activity of urology in this beautiful city. |
